The Ferdinand Verbiest Foundation (VF) was established in 1982, approved and sponsored during 24 years by the Chinese Province of the CICM Missionaries (Scheut). Since 2007 it is legally established in Leuven (Belgium) as a "foundation" (stichting) according to Belgian law.
